Every SIX minutes a child in Somalia dies due to the famine.
Please help me spread awareness of those unfortunate. Somalia need as much food and water possible. We all need to remember to donate money, time, prayers and energy to this cause. This could have been anyone of us; it just so happens it was their destiny. There are hundreds of pictures like this, the videos are growing, and the list of deaths is endless. But only when you actually pick your card to donate or burst into tears for wasting that slice of pizza will you understand their struggle. We live in a world where more money is spent on war and military funding, rather than humanitarian aid and tackling poverty.
The people of Somalia are dying. They are dying because there is no food or water. Approximately 1.3 billion tons of foodis thrown out each year. Over the last 90 days 29’000 people have died from the famine. The numbers say it all.
Never forget the less unfortunate.
This picture was taken a few days ago. It hurts me to even wonder if these children are still alive?
